I think for the most part all of us here are familiar with this recipe, but if you're unfamiliar with how it was made then we definitely have more than one way to get started!

This chicken biryani might not be your first thought of when you google "Chicken Biryani", however we will take you through the simple steps along the way. All you need is an oven, some rice and a meat stock cube in the fridge! The meat will go in the pan on top of the rice, then once done cooking, place everything into the bowl and mix it up! It's that easy!

I will start off by explaining what type of rice you have chosen. Personally I tend to like grainy rice like basmati or brown rice, so my rice usually has rice flakes, because they are much easier to absorb into the rice than white rice. However, whatever you choose make sure that you have room in the pan otherwise the sauce will run out! On top of that this can also be used as "baked" rice, which makes them a lot firmer. You can use any other rice type however the rice should be firm enough but the texture should still hold together.

A meat stock cube should be added to the rice and placed inside the base, so there's no room for it to spill while cooking. This is what we call the foundation in different recipes, so make sure to have at least 1/4 cup of water in your pan as well to prevent sticking to the bottom on the rice. Once all of your ingredients are mixed you're ready to throw some breadcrumbs over the top of the plate!

I think that’s pretty boring right? I mean why do most people bother making a picture board just because they want to post their pictures all over Instagram? Maybe they're bored. But it's not really nice to watch as many things as possible and also a bit tedious as well. So I prefer to give myself more time and do what I need to complete the entire project. When I'm trying to figure something out on my own I always look up online tutorials at the end of a tutorial. And for me personally, these are great as you make each individual step along the process even simpler.

As mentioned earlier, a few years ago someone asked me about my favourite things to make chicken Biryani for me, and since then many new ideas have come around saying how amazing our food looks afterwards! We love to cook! As a student, I often feel like I don't have time for the actual preparation of the dish, it only ends up costing me money on the last minute touches. To avoid this I decided to create a few new recipes every week, just to keep myself busy. Each one costs slightly less than half the original price, so each week the meal keeps getting better each day.

Last year was all about baking... Well maybe not everyone? I tried several new recipes and did not like them, so after doing a little research I came across this idea of substituting flour with rice instead. I thought it was a good idea, but I didn't like how it tasted until I gave the recipe a try. It went very well, we made it two times. Now for the real work though! For you those of you who are curious on how, here's my short video tutorial for anyone who wants to see what it's like behind the scene!

My friends and family and relatives all loved, it got lots of comments on social media, so hopefully I've helped others too. There's nothing wrong with learning how to bake from scratch if you're a baker on the go. Even when you have the time to sit down, you can always try something new! Plus when you find yourself stuck on a recipe, or need to make a similar dinner for yourself, have a good laugh and come up with something very different!

Thank you for taking the time to read this long piece! If you liked it please share with your friends and family, I would appreciate any kind of encouragement! As usual I'll answer questions in future posts as to how you can further improve this recipe, feel free to comment all the time and let me know what you get up to! Good luck!
